similar notice with respect to all sums of money which the
said court shall from time to time receive or have as belonging
to the school funds of said county, or of any school district
thereof

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That as soon as may be after the
said orphans court shall have knowledge of the passage of this
act, the said court shall draw on the treasurer of the western
shore for all the moneys which had accrued to Harford county :
for the said county's share of school funds of any and every
description, up to the second week in January of this present
year.

Repealing
clause.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That any thing contained in
any act or acts heretofore passed, that may be repugnant to or
inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

SHERIFF.

AN ACT to compel the Sheriff of Harford County to keep a Gaoler resident
in the Gaol of said County.— 1818, ch. 105.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall hereafter be the duty of the sheriff of Harford
county, cither to reside himself in the gaol of said county, [or |
to keep a gaoler resident therein, under the penalty of two dol-
lars for every clay he shall neglect or refuse so to do, to be
recovered by indictment and conviction in the county court of
Harford county, in the name of the state, one-half whereof shall
go to the informer, and the other half to the levy court lor the

thereof, if the levy court of Harford county shall be of opinion
that the gaol of said county is not in a condition for the com-

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the sheriff of Haford county, be allowed a per diem of two dol-
lars for each and every clay he shall attend the sittings of liar-
ford county court, and that the said per diem allowance; for the
present sheriff, shall commence from the beginning of the
March term of said court for the year eighteen hundred and
thirty-five, and that the said per diem bo levied and paid as
other expenses incident to the sittings of said court.

AN ACT, entitled, an act to fix the per diem allowance for the support and
maintenance of Prisoners in the Jail of Harford County — 1837, ch. 218.
