SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the superintendants of free
schools in Frederick shall have power to determine what
charge, if any, should be made by the teachers of St. John's
benevolent school for the education of, or furnishing stationery
for the pupils therein, and pay the same from the free school
fund under their control, as is directed in reference to other
free schools of Frederick in the original law to which this is a
supplement.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That until the corporate autho-
rities of Frederick shall levy the necessary taxes, and cany
into effect the original law to which this is a supplement, the
levy court of Frederick county be, and they are hereby re-
quired to pay over to the president and directors of the Frede-
rick free school, and to the pastor of St. John's church, in
Fredericktown, for the use of St. John's benevolent school,
the amount of the Frederick county school fund directed to be
paid for the use of said schools respectively, by an act passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and twenty-five, chap-
ter seventy-two.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Frederick county, at their annual meet-
ing in Ma) next, and annually thereafter, appoint a boaid of
inspectors of the primary schools of said county, consisting of
one person from each election district, who shall be vested

with the same powers, and charged with the same duties, as
are now vested in the inspectors and commissioners undei the
original act, except so far as said law is altered or abolished by
this supplement.

pensation.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That each inspector shall receive
the sum of two dollars per diem, whilst in the execution of the
duties imposed upon him by the original act or any supple-
ments thereto, the said per diem allowance to be paid out of
