Function: Training school for delinquent children. County or Baltimore
more City to pay $180 per annum for each child committed
by it and $25 per annum for each child placed on parole.

Victor Cullen School

11.01.11.01

Established By: Md. Code Ann., art. 52A, § 1.

Head: Superintendent, appointed under merit provisions by Director
of Juvenile Services.

Removal: Under merit provisions.

Employees: All under merit system except part-time employees. At present,
there are 70 merit employees and 1 unclassified employee.

Function: Traing school for delinquent children. County or Baltimore
City to pay $180 per annum for each child committed by it,
and $25 per annum for each child placed on parole.

Maryland Children's Center

11.01.10.01

Established By: Md. Code Ann., art. 52A, § 1.

Head: Superintendent appointed under merit provisions by Director
of Juvenile Services.

Employees: All under the merit system except professional teachers
who are exempted under Md. Code Ann., art. 64A, § 3. At
present, 63 merit employees; 5 unclassified employees.

Function: School for delinquent children. County or Baltimore City
to pay $180 per annum for each child committed by it.

Maryland Training School for Boys

11.01.04.01

Established By: Md. Code Ann., art. 52A, § 1.

Head: Superintendent appointed under merit provisions by Director
of Juvenile Services.

Employees: Superintendent and all employees, except professional
teachers, are under the merit system. Professional teachers
exempted under Md. Code Ann., art. 64A, § 3; art. 77, § 329.
At present, there are 156 merit employees and 35 unclassified
employees.

Function: School for delinquent children.
