850 EXECUTIVE PROCEEDINGS.

On motion by Mr. Bowie,

Said nomination was referred to the Committee on Execti
tive nominations. • • .

Mr, Bowie from the Committee on Executive nominations

reported favorably upon the nomination of Peter W. Crain

as an Associate Justice of the Court of Appeal of Maryland.

The Senate advised and consented to the said nomination

Mr. Bowie, from the Committee on Executive nomination

reported favorably upon the nomination of John Bosley, of

William, of Baltimore county, as Weighmaster of Live Stool

in Baltimore city, vice Charles Whittemore.

On motion by Mr. Bowie,
The Senate advised and consented to said nomination.

I nominate for your advice and consent the following per-
sons to fill vacancies, occasioned by the refusal of your Hon-
orable body to advise and consent to my former nominations
to the same offices, viz:

Luther J. Cox, of Baltimore county, for Notary Public
Baltimore city, vice William McPhail.

Oscar G. Hayden, of St. Mary's county, for Inspector Gen-
eral of Grain in Baltimore city, vice Benjamin F. May.

Thomas E. Talbot, of Queen Anne's county, for Assistant
Inspector of Grain in Baltimore city, vice Robert Talbot.

William Lewis for Justice of the Peace in the 2d District
Baltimore county, vice Christian Sauter.

John Robinson for coroner Baltimore county,. vice Henry

James Resley for Justice of the Peace in the 5th District
Washington county, vice Norval McKinley.
