The bill entitled, an Act to establish and incorporate an
asylum for the deaf and dumb of the State of Maryland;
Being under consideration,

The Committee on Corporations submitted the following
amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 8, line 3, strike out the word "next" and insert
"1869;"

Which WAS read and adopted.

The bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas
