63, Code of Public General Laws, relating to Militiajand sec-
tions 652 to 770 both inclusive, of Article 4, Code of Public
Local Laws relating to Militia in the city of Baltimore, and
to re-enact said Article 63 with amendments, and respectfully
inform you that we concur therein. We have appointed on
the part of the House Messrs. Neilson and Jones.

Which was read.

And returned the following bills:

A bill to repeal an Act entitled, an Act to authorize and em-
power the commissioners appointed by the Circuit Court of
Queen Anne's county, to divide the real estate of John Hen-
drix, late of said county, deceased, to convey to the purchaser
the legal title to said lands, and to re-enact the same with
amendments;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an Act to make valid deeds executed and
acknowledged since the 1st day of November, 1864, before
the Justices of the Peace, in any county in this State where
the grantors resided, or where lands are situated;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, ah Act to add the following sections to Ar-
ticle 81 of the Code of Public General Laws, title Revenue
and Taxes, sub-title Direct taxes, relating to the sale of real
and leasehold estates for taxes in the several counties;

"Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
bills:

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 3 and 4, relating
to appeals from Courts of Law, of Article 5, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled, Appeals, and to re-enact the
same with amendments;

Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 2, chapter 108,
passed February 8, '1866, relating to certificates for payrnent
<g bounties, and to re-enact the same;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.
