Mr. Kimmel, submitted the following amendment:

Section 4, line 7, after the words "twenty-five," insert
"or upwards."

On motion of Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments, to report a bill entitled an Act, supplementary to an
Act, to incorporate the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River
Tidewater Canal Company, passed at January Session 1866,
chapter 173.

On motion of Mr. Ohr,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act, to add additional sections to the Code of Public
General Laws, title Small Pox;

Mr. Stephenson submitted the following amendment:

Amend by striking out of section "one" sub-section
"three."

Mr. Stephenson withdrew the amendment.

Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:

In the 1st section 3d line —— strike out the words "by a
Physician;"

Which was read and adopted.

Mr. Compton submitted the following amendment :

Amend 1st line, 3d sub-section, by inserting after the word
"Physician," in the first line, the words "in any city, town
or village, of this State;"

Which was read and rejected.
