Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to.pay Edward W. Carriden, for publishing the laws
of January session 1865;

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported a bill
entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money for a monu-
ment at London Park Cemetery, over the remains of Federal
soldiers ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported a bill
entitled, an Act to refund money erroneously paid into the
Treasury by John B. Graham, of Cecil county ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Earle from the Committee ou Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act for the benefit of the Lib-
rary Company of the Baltimore Bar ;

Reported it with the following amendments :

Amend section 1, line 2, strike out after the words "sum
of" the words "one thousand," and insert in their place the
words "five hundred."

Amend section 1, line 4, by inserting after the word "use,"
the words ''for two successive years."

Amend section 3, line 1, by striking out the words "one
thousand." and inserting in their place the words "five hun-
dred."

Which were read and adopted. .

der the third time, three-fourths concurring, and passed by
