Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Tome, Bowie and Billingslea.

A bill entitled, an Act to add a new section to Article 10
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled, attachments;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 91, 92, 93, 94 and
95, of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws for Cecil
county relating to fences;

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Tome,
Spates and Philpot.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the resolution in relation to the settlement of the ac-
count of John M. Walker;

Reported it without amendment,

The resolution was then read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays as follow:

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the resolution relating to payment of bounty to
Charles Quinlan;
Reported it without amendment,
The resolution was then read a second time.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the joint resolutions appointing John S. Gettings,
James W. Alnutt and Alexander B. Hagner, or any two of
them to adjust and settle the claims.between the State of Mary-
land and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company;

Reported them without amendment,

The resolutions were then read the second time.

Mr. Earle from the Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably on the claim of J. Frank Kramer, asking additional com-
pensation.
