The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Courts of this State
to decree the sale of land in certain cases where infants and
non-residents are interested;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 65 of Article 19 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, of Somerset county, relating
to Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to amend and
re-enact the same;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 37, 38, 39, 46, 47,
48 and 54, Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relat-
ing to the town of Centreville, Queen Anne's county, and to
re-enact the following as substitutes therefor;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 37, 38, 39 and 40,
of Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled,
Licenses, and to re-enact the same with amendments;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings,

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the town of Luther-
ville, in Baltimore county;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 2 and 3, of Article
36, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled, estrays and
vessels adrift, and re-enact the same with amendments;'

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to exempt the bond of James E.
Nutwell, of Anne Arundel county, from responsibility on ac-
count of Arms furnished to him as Captain of Home Guards,
2d Regt., Md. Militia, by the State, and subsequently taken
from him by the agenis of the General Government;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Militia.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, sub-section 46, of chapter 197, of laws of Maryland,
passed at January session, 1864, entitled, an Act to amend
and re-enact section 23, section 46, and section 103, of Arti-
cle 81, of the Code o'' Public General Laws, entitled, Revenue
and Taxes;
