Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the claim of J. Frank Kramer, for additional com-
pensation ;

Reported unfavorably thereon ;
The report was adopted.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the Resolution relating to payment of a bounty to
Charles Quinlan ;

Reported unfavorably thereon ;

The resolution was read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act supplementary to Acts of
February 3, 186,5, chapter 33, and March 14, 1865, chapter
106, relating to the payment of bounties to the heirs of de-
ceased soldier;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 106, 107,
108,109 and 110, of article 81, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled, revenue and taxes, and relating to tax on
Executors and Administrators commissions;

Reported unfavorably thereon,

The report was ordered to lie over.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to compensate Job Haines
and Daniel M. Moore, for extra services rendered in the
Comptroller's Office;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Aet supplementary to an Act
entitled, an Act to provide for the general valuation and as-
sessment of property in this State, passed at the extra session
of the General Assembly in the year 1866, chapter 157;

Reported it with the following amendment,

After the word "Montgomery," in the 17th line, add the
words "for purchase money in the hands of the original
mortgage, or his executors, administrators and legal repre-
sentatives, in case of tho death of the mortgagee," and strike
out the words "for whatever object or purpose the same may
be executed;"

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to refund to Charles ,H.
Mitchum, a sum of money erroneously paid;
