FRIDAY, March 15, 1867.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the Joint
Resolutions appointing John S. Gittings, James W. Alnutt
and Alexander B. Hagner, commissioners, to audit and ad-
just the claims between the State of Maryland and the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad Company ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also delivered the following bills :

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Frederick and
Pennsylvania line Railroad Company ;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act appropriating a sum of money to
pay the claims of James L. Martin, Thomas Danaldson,
Thomas S. Alexander, John A. Lynch and John Ritchie ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to pay Stephen R. Gove, late col-
lector of taxes in Carroll county, monies erroneously paid
into the State Treasury ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act appropriating a sum of money to
pay the claims of David Plummer, Wm. H. Neilson and

others ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of B. E. Smith, and others ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to pay Judson F. Richardson, late
Sheriff of Prince George's county, for services and expenses
in the execution of requisitions ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to pay Frederick Sasscer, clerk of
the Circuit Court for Prince George's county, fees due him
by the State ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of John W. Brashears and others ;
