article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to elections
in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, and to amend and re-enact said section 227,

Pending the reading of which,

Mr. Vickers moved a call of the Senate.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to notify the absent Sena-
tors that their attendance was required ia the Sanate Cham-
ber.

Mr. Compton moved that the Senate adjourn.

On the question being put, it was

Determined in the affirmative.

The Senate adjourned until 8 o'clock P. M.
