land Hospital, prescribing an additional oath to be taken by
the President, Vice President and Visitors of the said hospi-
tal, and to reinstate the former President, Vice President
and Visitors of the said hospital in office;

Being under consideration,

Mr. Henkle moved a call of the Senate.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to inform the absent Sena-
tors that their attendance was required in the Senate Cham-
ber.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,
Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays as follow :

Ordered, That the Secretary of the Senate employ an ad-
ditional Committee Clerk;

Which was read and adopted.
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,

The Senate took up for consideration,

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal an Act passed at the
January session, 1867, entitled, an Act to repeal the 4, 7, 15,
and 20th sections of the 4th article of the Local Public Laws
of the city of Baltimore, relative to the qualifications of elec-
tors in said city, and regulating the time for holding elections
for Mayor and the members of the City Council, and the terms
of, and the times for entering upon the duties of said offices,
and to re-enact the same with amendments; and also to repeal
the 4, 7, 15, 16, 20, 26, 213 and 222d sections of the 4th ar-
ticle of the Code of Public Local Lawe relating to the city of
Baltimore and the election of Mayor and members of the City
Council of said city, their terms of office respectively, the time
of entering upon their duties respectively, and to amend and
re-enact the said sections, and to repeal an act passed at Jan-
uary session, 1867, entitled, an Act to repeal section 227 of
