On motion by Mr. Philpot,
The Senate proceeded to the consideration of the
Bill entitled, an Act to authorize the payment of bounty to

William Wecker or his order,
The bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas

and nays as follow :

Davis, of Caroline,
Earle,
Frazier,
Henkle,
Holton,
Jump,

AFFIRMATIVE.

Philpot,

Stephenson,
Stirling,

NEGATIVE—Mr. Waters—1.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr, Henkle submitted the following:

Ordered, That when the Senate adjourn, it stand adjourned
until to-morrow at 11 A. M.

Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:

Strike out 11 A. M. to-morrow and insert 8 o'clock this
evening.

On the question being put, it was

Determined in the affirmative.

The order as amended was then adopted.

On motion by Mr. Philpot,
The Senate adjourned until 8 P, M.

TUESDAY, March 12th, 8 o'clock P. M.

The President of the Senate being absent,

On motion by Mr. Vickers,
Mr. Henkle was called to the Chair.

Mr. Vickers moved that the Setate take a recess for one hour;
Mr. Stirling submitted the following amendment:
That the Senate adjourn until to-morrow at 11 o'clock A. M.;
