The question then recurred upon the adoption of the motion
submitted by Mr. Vickers, and it was
Determined in the affirmative.
The Senate accordingly took a recess for one hour.

.TUESDAY, March 12, 9 o'clock P. M.

The Senate re-convened.
On motion by Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Waters, Earle and Brodwa-
ter to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Coun-
ty Commissioners of Somerset county, to levy a sum of money
upon the assessable property of said county, to build a bridge
across the east branch of the Wicomico river at the town of
Salisbury;

The bill entitled, an Act to revive and amend the Act of
incorporation of the town of New Windsor, in Carroll coun-
ty, passed December session 1843, chapter 47, and to repeal
the 14th section thereof, and re-enact the same with the fol-
lowing new and additional sections;

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follow:

Brodwater,
Compton,
Earle,
Frazier,
Henkle,
Holton,
Jump,

The bill entitled, a supplement to an Act entitled, an Act to
