On motion by Mr. Bowie,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Bowie, Trail and Tome, to
introduce a bill entitled, an Act to require the county com-
missioners of Frederick county to pay for the printing and
publishing ordered by the late officers of Registration in said
county.

On motion by Mr. Mules,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to authorize the coporate authorities
of the city of Baltimore to appropriate a sum of money for the
relief of the suffering South, and to provide for the payment
thereof.

On motion by Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Waters, Vickers and Ho|ton
to introduce a bill to incorporate Chester Lodge, No. 115,
Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons.

On motion by Mr. Mules,

Leave was granted to the Committee en Finance to intro-
duce a bill to provide for the collection of State taxes in Balti-
more city.

On motion by Mr. Compton,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill making an additional appropriation for an Execu-
tive mansion.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Henkle, Mackall and Phil-
pot to introduce a bill to appropriate a sum of money for the
relief of the Inebriate Asylum.

On motion by Mr. Tome,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to amend the Act passed January session 1860,
chapter 303 for the promotion of Internal Improvements,
passed at December session 1865, chapter 395.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Annapolis and Western Ma-
ryland Rail Road Company.

On motion by Mr. Holton,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Education, to
introduce a bill authorizing the Commissioners of Howard
county to levy a local tax for the support of the public schools
of said county.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
