Sub-section 4, fill the blanks by inserting "first Wednes-
day in October, 1868."

Which was read and rejected.

The question then recurred upon the adoption of the amend-
ment offered by Mr. Vickers., and it was determined in the
affirmative.

Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:

Amend section 7, line 1 and 2, by striking out the words
"fourth Wednesday in March," and insert in lieu thereof the
words "fourth Wednesday in April."

Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:
Amend section 7, line —, strike out the word "succeeding
his election.''

Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:

Amendment No. 4. Amend section 15, line 2, by striking
out the words "third Wednesday of March/' and by insert-
ing in lieu thereof "third Wednesday in April."

Which was read and adopted.
Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendment:
Amendment No. 5.—Amend section 16, line 2, by striking
out the words "third Wednesday of March," and insert in
lieu thereof the words "third Wednesday in April."

Which was read and adopted.

Amend section 16, line 2, by striking out the words

"third Wednesday of March," and insert in lieu thereof the

words " third Wednesday in April."

Amend section 20, line 1, by striking out the words "first

Monday in April," and by inserting the words "first

Wednesday in May."

Amend section 26, line 8, by striking out the words "or
ordinance."
