1000 TITLES OF LAWS.

No. 154. An act to empower Attwood Blunt of Baltimore
county, State of Maryland, to construct a railroad from the
Waltersville Quarry to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.

No. 155. An act to incorporate the Maryland Industrial
agency, and to aid railroad companies, farmers, planters,
manufacturers and others to obtain loans and advances of
money and of credits upon more favorable terms than such
loans and credits are usually given by banks.

No. 156. An act to repeal sections five and eight of the
act passed at the January session, 1864, chapter 15, entitled
an act to aid and encourage enlistments into the Maryland
regiments in the service of the United States, and also to re-
peal sections four and five of the act passed at the January
session, 1865, chapter 33, entitled an act to provide bounty
for soldiers entering the service of the United States to fill
the quotas of Maryland, under the call of the President of
the United States of December, 1864, and under future calls.

No. 157. An act to authorize Thomas J. White and others
of Howard county to convey certain house and land to Ar-
thur P. German and others.

No. 158. An act to incorporate the "Still Pond and Sassa-
fras Wharf Company at Crew's Landing in Kent county on
Sassafras river.

No. 159. An act to compensate Ezekiel F. Chambers for
professional services rendered the State, and to pay the Gov-
ernor for expenses attending the reception of the President of
the United States on the 15th day of September, 1866, by the
appointment of Governor Hicks in the prosecution of a case
in the year, 1858, under the grain inspection laws of this
State, in the Superior Court of the city of Baltimore, and in
the successful prosecution of the same case in the year, 1859,
in the Court of Appeals.

No. 160. An act to make valid deeds executed and ac-
knowledged since the first day of November, 1864, before the
Justice of the Peace in any county in this State, where the
grantors resided or where lands are situated.

No. 161. An act to authorize London Park cemetery to
make and enforce calls or assessments upon its capital stock.

No. 162. An act to amend an act entitled an act to aid and
encourage enlistments into the Maryland Regiments in the
service of the United States, passed 1864, chapter 15, and to
provide for the prompt payment of the bounties therein spe-
cified and to repeal section 4 of said act, and to re-enact the
same so as to make the bounties therein specified payable to
