The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to provide for
the selection, drawing and summoning of juries in the seve-
ral counties, and prescribing their qualifications ;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to add an additional section
to article 29 of the Code of Public General Laws in relation
to courts ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 28 and 29,
of article 18, of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
clerks of courts, and to re-enact the same with amendments ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 68 of article 26, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title, "Corporations," and re-enact the same with amend-
ments ;

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to add article
91 of the Code of Public General Laws entitled, "Sureties,"
an additional section providing or the'better protection of the
same;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to make valid
the official Acts of Justices of the Peace appointed by Gover-
nor Bradford during the month of December, 1865, and Jan-
uary, 1866 ;

Reported it without amendment,

Wm. Watson, Emily Watson and Tbomas Watson, all the
right and interest of the State of Maryland, in and to the
