Nathaniel Duke, George W. Dowell, Thomas B. Billingsley
and Richard Hance, administrators of William Billingsley;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tions 1, 2 and 3 of chapter 43 of laws passed at January ses-
sion 1862, entitled Wild Fowl, and to re-enact the same with
amendments;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time,

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled an Act to relieve the
security of Philip Drum of New Orleans;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered joint resolu-
tion relating to appointment of a commissioner to the Paris
Exposition;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

Also, resolution relating to payment of a bounty to Charles
Quinlan;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also, joint resolution in relation to a site for State build-
ings;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

On motion by Mr. Compton,

Leave of absence was granted to the Sergeant-at-Arms un-
til Monday morning next.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal the
4th section of the 43d article of the Code of Public General
Laws relating to habeas corpus, and to re-enact the following
section in lieu thereof;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to amend and
re-enact sections 7 and 8 of article 29 of the Code of Public
General Laws relating to the appointment and compensation
of assistant counsel;
