AN ACT entitled, "An Act to authorize Thomas
McCorea, Jr., of Howard county, to act in the
double capacity of Justice of the Peace and
Assistant Assessor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Thomas McCorea, Jr., of
Howard county, be and he is hereby authorized to
act in the double capacity of Justice of the Peace
and Assistant Assessor.

CHAPTER 406.

In force.

AN ACT entitled an act to repeal section three
of article eighty-five of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws entitled "seamen."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section three of article eighty-
five of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
seamen, be and the same is hereby, repealed.
