Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceelings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to create the
office of Lumber Inspector and Wood Corder for the Poco-
moke river;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to empower and authorize the
County Commissioners of Kent county, to erect an Alms
House in said county and to provide for the payment thereof;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore county,
to levy an additional school tax as provided for in section 5,
of the 8th article of the Constitution of this State;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to change the
name of Doctor Andrew Dunlap Palmer, to Andrew John-
son Palmer, of Baltimore city;

Reported it without amendment.
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 43, of the Public General Laws entitled, Mechanic's
Lien, and to re-enact the same with amendments;

Reported it without amendment.

The said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to further ex-
tend the time and provisions of the Act passed February 6,
1864, chapter 15, and March 14, 1864, chapter 373, and the
supplements thereto relating to the payment of bounties to
volunteers and drafted men of this State;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to authorize
the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's connty, to sub-
scribe in behalf of said county to the capital stock of the
Queen Anne's and Kent county Rail Road company, and to
repeal chapter 165, of the laws passed at January session
1866;
