The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the following
bills:

A bill entitled, an Act for the relief of Thomas Lusby,
John Haddaway and S. Franklin Smith, and to appoint com-
missioners to assess damages sustained by them in the opening
of a public road through their lands;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay George W. Morgan, David Clarke and the heirs of James
G. Alnutt, tobacco commissioners;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Maryland Hotel
Company in the city of Annapolis;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Central Maryland
Railroad Company;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate an Institution in the
city of Baltimore, to be called The Bank of Collateral De-
posits;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal an Act entitled, an Act to
prohibit the granting of licenses for the sale of spirituous or
fermented liquors or lager beer, at or near Woodbury Factory
in Baltimore county, passed March 7, 1864, chapter 206;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Hall's Springs Railway Company;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to amend and alter the charter of
the city of Annapolis;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to add new sections to chapter 151,
of the Acts of 1862, entitled, an Act to incorporate the Presi-
dent and Commissioners of the village of Rising Sun, Cecil
county;

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Tome
Stephenson and Vickers.
