his discretion, after having advertised such sale
for one week in the newspaper having the largest
circulation in the City of Baltimore, and it shall
be the duty of the said inspector to sell the said
scraps four times in each year, and to render an
account to the Comptroller of the Treasury of the
number of hogsheads so sold, their weights and
the amount per hogshead realized, said account to
be rendered as already required by law in regard
to receipts and disbursements of said inspectors. |

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That the fol-
lowing sections be added to the said act of January
Session eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chapter
three hundred and forty-six to come in after sec-
tion fifty of said Act, and to be numbered sections
fifty-one and fifty-two respectively. |

Sec. 51. It shall be the duty of each inspector
to publish once in two months, in some newspaper
having the largest circulation in the City of Balti-
more an accurate and detailed statement of the
number of hogsheads of tobacco he may have in
his warehouse, and stored out, if he have any,
when inspected, and their average weight, he shall
also have hand bills posted in and about his ware-
house directing public attention to said statement. |

Sec. 52. It shall be the duty of each inspector to
have his warehouse thoroughly cleaned out at least
four times a year, and he shall certify to the Comp-
troller quarterly that he has complied with the
provisions of this section. |
