On motion by Mr. Trail,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled, an Act to provide an addi-
tional Poll for election district, No. 2, in Frederick county.

Mr. Maddox presented the petition of sundry citizens of St.
Mary's county in relation to the oyster law;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake and its Tributaries.

Mr. Vickers presented the petition of T. G. Robertson and
148 other citizens of Washington county, in favor of a law to
call a convention to make a new Constitution;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Star Di-
vision, No. 24, of the Order of the Sons of Temperance, of the
town of Hancock, in Washington county;

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the trus-
tees of the Parsonage belonging to the Mechanicstown charge
of the German Reformed Church;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act repealing the charter
of the Union Rosine Association, of Baltimore city, and au-
thorizing the transfer of all its rights, immunities and pro-
perty to the Maryland Industrial School for girls;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time;

Mr. Mules from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Wright
Mining Company of Allegany county;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Ches-
