commissioners of Baltimore county to levy an additional
school tax as provided for in section 5 of the 8th article of the
constitution of this State;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to relieve the security of Philip
Drum, of New Orleans;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Young, from the Committee on Agriculture, to which
had been recommitted the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 2 of article 87 of the Code of Public General Laws re-
lating to sheep and dogs, and to re-enact the following sec-
tions in lieu thereof.

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Billingslea, by unanimous consent, submitted the fol-
lowing amendment:

Se9tion 14, line 4, after the word "city," add "Carroll
county."

Which was read and adopted.
On motion by Mr. Spates,

The bill was then read the third time by special order,
three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
