AN ACT to revise and amend the Act of Incor-
poration of Mechanicstown; in Frederick Coun-
ty, Maryland, passed December Session, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-one, chapter one hun-
dred and eleven, with the supplements thereto.

Act revived.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act of Incorporation of
Mechanicstown, in Frederick County, Maryland,
passed December Session, eighteen hundred and
thirty-one, chapter one hundred and eleven, with
the several supplements thereto, be and the same is
hereby revived, and made as effectual to all intents
and purposes as if the said Act of incorporation
had not expired by the neglect of said corpora-
tors.

Election to be
held.

SECTION 2. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That with a view to carry said
corporation into operation, with all the rights and
privileges granted to them by said Act of incorpo-
ration, that the citizens of Mechanicstown, as pro-
vided for in said Act of incorporation, shall hold
an election on the first Monday in April next, at
the house of John B. Gilbert, between the hours
of ten o'clock A. M. and three o'clock P. M., for
the purpose of electing a Burgess and three Com-
missioners, as designated in said Act of incorpo-
ration, and for the same space of time.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
go into effect from the date of its passage.
