AN ACT to remodel the charter of the Union
Orphan Asylum of Baltimore city.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, At the January session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-five, of the General Assembly
of Maryland, and by the ninth chapter of the
laws then passed, a charter was conferred upon
the Union Orphan Assylum of Baltimore city,
which charter has been found to be unsuited to
the purposes and needs of the corporation and it
has been deemed expedient to alter its provisions;
therefore,

Incorporated.

SECTION- 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Fanny Turnbull, Ann Church,
Annie M. Whitney, Maria Louisa Pratt, Eliza-
beth P. Oudesleys, Catharine Hooper, Mary E.
Bobbins, Elizabeth M. Turner, Laura M. Cook,
Ann P. Dukehart, Ann M. Brown, Rose Boggs,
Anna Boyd, Parthenia Getty, Margaret A.
Townshend, Margaret 8. Purviance, Hannah E.
Garrittee, Harriet B. Hinds, Sophia B. Pentz,
Margaret D. Bargar, Margaret B. Richardson,
Mary B. Cook, Eliza E. Berry, Mary D. Brown,
Johns Hopkins, Columbus O'Donnell, Thomas
Swann, Thomas Kelso, John Clark, Thomas
Whitridge, Isaac P. Cook; William Woodward.
Alexander Turnbull, Horace Abbott, Jesse Tyson,
H. W. Robbins, Alexander Butcher, Benjamin
Deford, Robert Turner, William Chesnut, John
Lee Chapman, William J. Albert, George Saun-
