and made capable to hold and enjoy the said parcel
of ground and premises mentioned, to be conveyed
by said deed for her own use and benefit in fee
simple, according to the tenor thereof, in the
same manner and as perfectly to all intents and
purposes and with the same powers of disposition
as if she had been a citizen of this State and of the
United States at the time of the execution of said
deed. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT entitled, a supplement to the Act passed
by the General Assembly of Maryland, at Jan-
uary Session, eighteen hundred and sixty, enti-
tled, an Act to incorporate a Company to build
a Turnpike road from Libertytown, in Frederick
county, to intersect the Woodsboro' and Freder-
ick Turnpike road, at or near the Monocacy
Bridge. |

for stock. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a subscription book shall be
opened at Mount Pleasant, under the direction of
Ezra Houck, Samuel Huke, John P. Derr, E. A.
Shrivel., Jacob Diller, Jeremiah H. Gramer, D.
C. Johnson, John W. Ogborn, Fairfax Schley,
Ezra Brongle and Charles A. Thomas, for a capi-
tal stock of ten thousand dollars, in shares of twen-
ty dollars each, who are hereby appointed Com-
missioners for that purpose, who shall proceed in
the manner directed in the second section of said
Act. |

three-fourths of the shares of said stock shall have
