AN ACT to authorize Thomas Fawcett, of Mont-
gomery county, to act as Postmaster and Jus-
tice of the Peace. |
Authoriza-
tion. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Fawcett, of Mont-
gomery county, be and is hereby authorized to act
in the double capacity of Postmaster and Justice
of the Peace in Montgomery county. |
In force. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

. AN ACT to incorporate the Trustees of the Par-
sonage House of the Methodist Episcopal Church
in Emmittsburg Circuit, East Baltimore Con-
ference. |

tion. |
SECTION 1. Belt enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Joseph S. Waddles, Jacob S.
Gelwicks and Frederick G. Meals, and their suc-
cessors, be and are hereby declared to be a body
corporate, by and under the name and title of the
Trustees of the Parsonage House of the Methodist
Episcopal Church in Emmittsburg, and under such
name and title to hold the said parsonage house
and lot of ground, and to have all such other pow-
ers as are or may be necessary to carry into effect
this Act. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Trus-
tees and their successors, by and under their cor-
porate name, shall hold the said parsonage house
and lot for the use of the several congregations
now composing the Emmittsburg Circuit of the
Methodist Episcopal Church, East Baltimore Con-
ference, with full powers to sell and convey the |
