AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Worcester county to sell and convey a cer-
tain lot or parcel of ground in New Town. |
Empowers
County Com-missioners.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Worcester county be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered to sell and convey to such
person or persons, and upon such terms and con-
ditions as they or a majority of them may deem
just and proper, that lot or parcel of ground situ-
ate in the town of New Town in Worcester coun-
ty, that was sold and conveyed by James Steven-
son to William Schoolfield, John S. Stevenson
and Ephraim T. Townsend as Trustees for the
Levy Court of said county, on the twenty-eighth
day of January, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and thirty-five. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, This Act shall take
effect upon its passage. |

len Road Company of Baltimore county, passed
at January session, one thousand eight hundred
and fifty-four, Chapter ninety-nine, and a sup-
plement thereto, passed at January session, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty, Chapter
fifty-one. |

WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that the road
authorized to be constructed by the Act and sup-
plement to which this is a supplement, cannot be
made and completed without the aid of additional
legislation, therefore, |
