The bill was recommitted to the Committee on Agricul-
ture;

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to change the,
name of Mary ' Elfaabeth Lewis, of Baltimore city, to Mary.
Elizabeth Young ;

Reported it with the following amendment:

Amend by adding after the word "is," in the third line
of enacting, clause by adding the words "hereby changed
to."

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings;
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal and-
re-enact the Act entitled, an Act to revive the Act of incor-
ration of the town of Salisbury in Somerset and Worcester
unties, chapter 356 of Public Local Laws for Somerset
county, and to add new sections thereto, ratifying and con-
firming certain acts of the commissioners of said town and
further purposes ;

Reported it with the following amendments :

Amendments to the Act of incorporation of the town of
Salisbury, in Somerset and Worcester, counties.

1st. Amend the title by inserting after the word "re-
peal" the word "amend ;" also the words "Somerset coua-
ty," insert the words "passed March 10th, 1864."

2nd. Amend section' 1, 4th line, by inserting after the
words "Somerset county," the words "passed March 10th,
1864," and in same line after the word "repealed," insert
the word "amended."

3rd. Amend section 3, 5th line,, by inserting after the
words "seventy-eight," the words "of Article 19, subtitle
Salisbury."

4th. Amend section 4, 3rd line, by inserting after the
words "seventy-four" the words "of article 19, sub-title Sal-
isbury ;" also same line after the word "repealed," insert the
word " amended and re-enacted so as. to read as follows."

5th. Amend section 6, third line, by inserting after the
word "Somerset" the words "or Worcester."

6th. Amend section 8, 4th line, by inserting after the word
"appointed," the words "and qualified;" also in same line
after the word "'Somerset." insert-the words "and Worces-
ter."

7th". Amend section 9, 6th line, by inserting after the
word "respects," the word "be,"
