Mr. Young, from the Committee on Agriculture, to which
was referred fhe bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 2,
article 87 of the Code of Public General L&wi relating to
Sheep and Dogs, and to enact the following sections in lieu
thereof:

Amend section 2, line 2, after the word "State," exept Al-
legany county.

Amend the 4th section by striking "out in the 5th line all
after the premises.

Mr. Waters submitted the following :
Amend by adding the following as an Additional section
to come in as section fifteen.
Section 15. And be it enacted, That this Act shall not ap-
ply to Calvert, Dorchester, Allegany, Worcester, Kent,
Charles, Anne Aruadel, Somerset,: Washington, Talbot and
St. Mary's counties, and Baltimore city.

Mr. Tome submitted .the following amendment:
Add; after section 15, Be it enacted, That all such laws in
the several counties relating to .thii section is hereby re-
pealed.

Mr. Young submitted the following amendment
Section 1C. That any person, unlawfully or wilfully taking
and carrying away any dog upon which tax has been paid,
.shall be considered guilty of a misdemeanor upon information
made to a justice of the peace, shall be subject to a fine of not
less than $10 nor more than $25:" The tiarty so fined shall
give security for fine and costs, or be conuued in the county
jail until such fine and costs and jail fees shall have been
paid.
