450 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 6,

On motion by Mr. Jump leave was granted to Messrs. Jump
Earle and Davis, of Caroline, to introduce a bill entitled "An
Act for the relief of the securities on the bond of John D.
Nabb, former collector of State taxes in Talbot county."

Referred to Committee on Finance.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to repeal section 98 of article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion by Mr. Jump leave was granted to Messrs.
Jump, Earle, and Davis, of Caroline, to introduce a bill to
authorize the County Commissioners of Talbot county to sub-
scribe to the capital stock of the Maryland and Delaware Rail
Road.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Con-
gregation of the Mission of St. Vincent de Paul of the city of
Baltimore;

Reported it without amendment.
The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to revive and amend the
Act of Incorporation of the Town of New Windsor, in Car-
roll county, passed at December session 1843, chapter 47 and
to repeal the 14th section thereof, and to re-enact the same
with the following new and additional sections;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Trus-
tees of the Wesley Chapel Episcopal Methodist Church at
Reisterstown, Baltimore county;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee oh Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Howard
Lodge, No. 119 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Ca-
roline county;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more Soap Stone Company;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read a second time.
