Mr. Vickers asked leave to withdraw from the files of the
Senate, a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the United States
Real Estate, Mining and Manufacturing Company, of Mary-
land.
Mr. Henkle from the Committee on Corporation's, reported
with amendments, the bill entitled, an act to repeal so much
of section one of the Act of 1860, chapter 303, entitled, an
Act,. to carry into effect the eighth section of the Act entitled
an Act, for the promotion of Internal Improvements, passed
December Session, 1835, chapter 396, as appropriates($13,000)
thirteen thousand dollars to the Choptank and Mispillion
Rail Road Company, and to appropriate the $13,000 to the
Dorchester and Delaware Rail Road Company, incorporated
at the Extra Session of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed February 6th, 1866, chapter 52 ;
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED :
In section 3, 4th line, after the word "stockholders," insert
"resident in Caroline county."
Section 3, 9th line, at the begining of line insert "residents
in Caroline county."
Section 3,12th line, after the word "pass," insert "through
Caroline county."
Add an additional section, to be numbered "Section 4."
"Section 4. And be it enacted, That unless the provisions
or* this act shall be fully complied with, before the expiration
of five years from the passage of this Act, then the Dorches-
ter and Delaware Rail Road Company shall forfeit all claim
to the aforesaid thirteen thousand dollars.

Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions, to report by the 29th instant.
