AN ACT to repeal an Act entitled, an Act to in-
corporate the Miles River Wharf Company, at
Miles River Ferry, in Talbot county, passed at
January Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
four. Chapter 46.

Repealed,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act passed at January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, Chapter
forty-six, entitled, an Act to incorporate the Miles
River Wharf Company, at Miles River, in Talbot
county, and which authorizes the condemnation of
land and construction of a Wharf on Miles River,
in Talbot county, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 79.

AN ACT to release the estate of Joseph L. Parvis,
late of Caroline county, from liabilities to the
State incurred by securityship on the Bond of
Alexander Knotts of Caroline county.

securityship.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the estate of Joseph L. Parvis,
be and the same is hereby released from all liabili-
ties to the State, incurred by securityship on the
Bond of Alexander Knotts, a former Sheriff of
Caroline County.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the State's At-
torney for Caroline county is hereby empowered
and directed to withdraw any suit or suits, and
stay all legal proceedings which may have been
instituted by order of the Comptroller of the Trea-
