The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to amend, and
re-enact section 92, Article 17, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, for Queen Anne's county, relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables;

Reported it without amendment.,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act for the exten-
sion of the powers of the Bailiff of the town of Easton in Tal-
bot county;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to add a new
section to Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, re-
lating to Registers of Wills, to come in after the 95 section;

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tion 4, of the 88th Article of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled, Sheriffs, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments;

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported a bill entitled, an Act to authorize and em-
power the trustees of the Union Church of Liberty town in
Frederick county, to convey certain church property in said
town, to Thomas W. Wilson and others, trustees of the Metho-
dist Protestant Church in said town, and to incorporate said
trustees;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to amend the
477th section of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled, Lumber,

Reported it with the following amendments :

Amend title, by striking out "chapter 477, section of Article
4th, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled, Lumber," and
insert "477 section of Article 4, of Code of Public Local Laws
of the city of Baltimore, title city of Baltimore, sub-title
Lumber;"
