428 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 5,

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Finance, reported a
bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 129, of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed January
session 1866 entitled, an Act to incorporate the merchant's
Steamship Line, and to re-enact the same with an amend-
ment;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to amend the charter of
the Baltimore Chrome, mining and manufacturing Company
by empowering the said Company to increase its capital stock,
or to make calls or assessments upon the present capital
stock,

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time;

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
House of the Good Shepherd in the city of Baltimore;

Resorted it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Pre-
sident and Directors of the Empire Mutual Insurance Com-
pany of Baltimore, Maryland;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Boonsboro' Cemetery Association;

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Fred-
erick Literary Association of Frederick city;

Reported it without amendment.

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Woodstock college of Balfimore county;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Potomac
Gold Mining Company, of Montgomery County, Maryland;
