CHAPTER 45. |

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Trustees
of the parsonage property in Chestertown, of
the Methodist Protestant Church of Kent Cir-
cuit, to sell and convey certain real estate in said
town. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That David Arthur, John W. Col-
ling, George Vickers, Abraham W. Sparks and
John T. Dodd, Trustees of the Methodist Pro-
testant Parsonage in Chestertown, on Kent Cir-
cuit of the Methodist Protestant Church of the
Maryland District, or a majority of them, be and
they are hereby fully authorized and empowered
to sell and convey in fee, to John Greenwood of
said town, part of the said parsonage lot of land,
fronting on Queen street in Chestertown, not ex-
ceeding three-fifths of an acre, by deed to be ex-
ecuted acknowledged, according to law. |
Power to con-
vey land. |
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. |

AN ACT to incorporate the Saint George's Soci-
ety of Baltimore. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Stewart Darrell, W. H. Perot,
George H. Williams, James Belden, J. J. Jackson,
Richard Coupland, J. C. Smith, John Welles, and
H. R. Hazelhurst and their associates and succes-
sors are hereby declared and made a body politic
forever, by the name of "The Saint George's So-
ciety of Baltimore," and shall and may at all
times hereafter be capable in law to have and en- |
