On motion by Mr. Waters,
It was ordered that the Committee on Claims be instructed
to issue to Joseph E. Lynch, messenger to the Senate, a cer-
tificate for two hundred and thirty dollars and fifteen cents,
to imburse him for losses sustained by robbery whilst in the
discharge of his official duty, in conveying a message from
this body to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Barle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
recommitted the bill entitled, an Act to compensate David
C. Blockson, Esquire, for services rendered the State in pros-
ecuting the cases of State vs. Wm. B. Paca and sons, for the
murder of John P. Paca, Jr., and Alfred Jones ;
Reported it with the following amendments :
