Which was read the first time.

Mr. Brodwater, from the Committe on the Chesapeake and
its tributaries, reported a bill entitled, an Act to repeal sec-
tions 94, 95 and 97, of article 19 of the Public Local Laws,
title, Somerset county, snb-title Oysters, and to re-enact the
same with amendments ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act appropriating a sum of money
to pay the claims of W. K. Boyle, Frederick Raine, William
Wales, Charles Cole, Charles Smith, W. H. Ruby, M.
Fields, J. W. Wright, Keefer, Smith & Co., Black, Eberts
& Co., Mrs. Rinehart, J. B. Mansfield, B. E. Smith, Long-

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the Bill entitled an act to apprpriate a sum of money
to pay the claim of Wheelwright, Mudge & Company;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Henkle, from the Select Committee, to which was re-
ferred the bill entitled, an Act to add certain additional sec-
tions to article 26, of the Public General Laws of this State,
relating to corporations, in order to provide for the organiza-
tion of Universities, Colleges, Hospitals and Asylums ;

Reported it without amendment,

The bill was then read a second time.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The rules were suspended and the bill read the third time
by special order, three-fourths concurring, and passed by
yeas and nays as follow :
