A bill entitled, an Act to amend the charter of the Balti-
more Chrome Mining and Manufacturing Company, by em-
powering the said Company to increase its capital stock, or to
make calls or assessments upon the present capital stock;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
purchase copies of a digest of the decisions containing the sta-
tutes of Maryland, of which the Code of Public General Laws
is composed, with referrences to the Acts of Assembly by Lew-
is Mayer, and to regulate the distribution of the same;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Woodstock Col-
lege of Baltimore county;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to repeal section second of article
eighty-two, of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
riots, and to re-enact the same with amendments;

tee on Judicial Proceedings.

of Public Local Laws entitled, Washington County, by
amending and re-enacting certain sections and adding thereto

Good Shepperd, in the city of Baltimore;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Board of School
Commissioners of Worcester county, to appropriate a sum of
money out of the Free School Fund of said county, towards
building school houses and for other purposes ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Education.

A bill entitled, an Act for the relief of Therese Caroline
Meister, of Baltimore city ;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled, an Act to give the assent of the Legisla-
ture to a deed conveying certain real estate in Washington
