the order correctly for that part of the year. At the Febru-
ary and October terms for the trial of Criminal and other
causes, we can answer positively, as a diary is kept of the at-
tendance of jurors, bailiff, &c., and by reference to said diary,
we find his Honor was present twenty-four days at the Feb-
ruary and twenty-four days at the October term,1866, being
the number of days at those terms when there were causes
ready for trial.

To the General Assembly of Maryland:

In accordance with an order of the House of Delegates, of
Maryland, passed 18th January, 1867, I beg leave to report
to your Honorable Body that the Hon. Samuel H. Berry,
Judge of the Circuit Court for Montgomery county, held ses-
sions of said court and transacted business therein during
the year 1866, as follows, viz :

At February Term, 1866, during - - 12 days.

At May " " " - - 3 days.

At August " " " 17 days.

At October " " " - 3 days.

In testimony whereof, I hereto set my hand and affix the
seal of the Circuit Court for Montgomery county, this 23d
day of January, 1867.
