Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
The bill entitled, an Act to secure the completion of the
Philadelphiaand Baltimore Central Railroad, and to waive
the lien of the State;

Being under consideration.

Mr. Stirling moved to strike out the enacting clause of the

Mr. Stirling moved a call of the Senate,
The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to inform the absent Sena-
tors that their presence was required in the Senate Cham-

ber.

On motion by Mr. Stephenson,

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

Mr Stirling moved that the Senate adjourn ;

On the question being put it was determined in the neg-
ative by yeas and nays as follow :
