whom was referred House Resolutions endorsing the policy of
President Johnson and Governor Swann, reported them with
the following amendment:

In the 12th line of the first resolution, before the word
"mode," insert "practicable" ;

Which was determined in the affirmative ;

Said Resolutions were then ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Young, from the Committee on Printing, submitted
the following

REPORT:

The Committee on Printing, to whom was referred the
Governor's Message and Report of the Comptroller of the
Treasury, would respectfully report, that they have had un-
der consideration the printing thereof; and would respectful-
ly recommend that five thousand copies of the Governor's
Message be printed in English, and one thousand in the Ger-
man language, and three thousand copies of the Comptroller's
Report to be printed in English for the use of the Senate.

Chairman.

Mr. Tome submitted the following amendment:
Strike out "three," and insert "five ;"
Determined in the affirmative,
Said report as amended was then adopted.
Mr. Jump moved that the Senate adjourn ;
Determined in the negative.
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Waters for one week.

The bill entitled, an Act to change the name of John Wes-
ley Pitcock, to John Wesley Baker,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
