346 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 28,

The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate Clarksburg Lodge,
No. 100, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading, and

On motion by Mr. Young,

The rules were suspended, and the bill read a third time
by special order, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas
and nays as follow:

Mackall,
Maddox,

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
On motion by Mr. Earle, it was

Ordered, That Benjamin Fawcett, one of the Committee
Clerks of this Body, take his seat by the side of the Reading
Clerk, to endorse the bills as they are read.

The Seriate adjourned until to-morrow morning, at 11
o'clock.

THURSDAY, February 28, 1867.

Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of 33 citizens of
Baltimore, urging the speedy passage of the Convention and
Municipal bills now pending in the Legislature;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Young presented the petition of citizens of Poolsville,
praying an Act to incorporate said town;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
