Culley, Samuel M. Haller, Daniel C. Bruce and Charles Gil-
pin, were not duly elected to seats in your Honorable Body;
but that your memorialists William Devecmon, William A.
Bryden, John McElfish and Patrick Hamill, were duly elect-
ed to said seats, at the election aforesaid, and are entitled to
the same.

Patrick Hamill, to the House of Delegates of Maryland, Jan-
uary Session 1867.

To William B. McCulley, Samuel M. Haller, Daniel 0. Bruce
and Charles Gilpin,

Gentlemen: Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of
the undersigned to contest your election for the House of Dele-
gates, for the State of Maryland.

We shall proceed to take testimony at such time and place
as shall hereafter be designated and agreed upon by John B.
Widenner, a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in
and for Allegany county.

Dated the 15th day of November, 1866.
