Mr. Bowie, by unanimous consent, submitted the following
order:

Ordered, That five hundred copies of the Report of the
Committee on Internal Improvements, on the memorial of the
President and Directors of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company, and the counter memorial of the President of the
Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Company, be printed for the
use of the Senate, and to be equally distributed among Sena-
tors.

On motion by Mr. Tome,

The order of the day, (being the bill entitled, an Act to
incorporate the Maryland Central Railroad Company,) was

Laid over informally.

On motion by Mr. Spates,
The rules were suspended,

And the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore'
Chrome Works,

Was read the second time, and
On motion by Mr. Spates,

Was read the third time by special order, three-fourths
concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:

Compton,
Davis, of Caroline,
Earle,
Henkle,
Kimmel,
Mackall,
Maddox,

AFFIRMATIVE.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred the bill entitled, an Act to pay Augustus Gassaway
and Robert Vinton Clayton, a sum of money for services ren-
dered the State.

Reported it without amendment,
The bill was then read the second time, and
On motion by Mr. Vickers,

The rules were suspended, and the bill read a third time
by special order, three-fourths concurring, and passed by yeas
and nays as follow :
