The bill was then read a second, time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Wi-
comico Lodge No. 91, of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons.

Reported it without amendment ;

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Sassafras River Steamboat Company;

Reported it without amendment;

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Bowie, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported
favorably a bill entitled, an Act to add an additional article to
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled sale of Agricul-
tural products;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Mules, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
a bill entitled, an Act to grant the Merchant's Union Tele-
graph Company of New York, the privilege to extend their
lines of Telegraph through the State of Maryland;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stephenson, from the Committee on Corporations, to
which was referred the bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the
Gwynn's Falls Bridge Company, of the Washington Road;

Reported it with the following amendments:

Amend section 1, line 3, by striking out the word "and,"
and insert after the word "Linthicum," in same line, the
following: "William Pannel, Michael Geagau and G. P.
Whitaker;"

Amend section 4, line 3, by striking out the word "ten,"
and inserting the words "twenty-five;"

Amend section 4, line 8, by inserting after the word "thereof,"
in said line, the following, to wit: after advertising for
at least twenty days, the time and place of opening said
books, said books to be kept upon for at least ten days, and
if upon closing said books, there shall be found to have been
subscribed more than three hundred and twenty shares, the
said corporators shall reduce the subscriptions pro-rata to
three hundred shares;"

The bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Mules, from the Select Committee, reported favora-
bly a bill entitled, an Act to restrict swine from running at
large in the. Twelfth District, in Baltimore county;

Which was read the first time.
